Families of youth boxers struggle to pay the costs to box competitively.
The youth boxers dream of being champions and are dedicated to the sport of boxing. We want to help.
In one of the poorest villages in the world, the Awoda Primary School struggles to pay the costs of teacher's salaries, school supplies, equipment, facilities and nutrition.
It is difficult for the children to learn, thrive and maintain hope when there is such a dramatic shortfall in resources. We want to help!

Dr. Lisa had an idea that by teaming up through boxing there was a way to help both.
​
This was the beginning of Boxing on Higher Ground, when three people came together with a dream to lift up the youth through boxing so by standing on higher ground they can see a vision of what's possible for their own lives through hard work, determination, focus and courage.
Supporting kids in South Sudan and San Diego so they can learn to fight in the ring and in life!
Besides providing much needed school supplies we want to bring the sport of boxing to Awoda school so the school children have an opportunity through the sport to learn and perfect characteristics that will help them win in the ring, and win in life!

We want to outfit the school with boxing equipment and trained coaches.

We are planning a missionary trip in early 2024 to provide boxing training, clinics, and supplies to the school.
